TERMS OF SERVICE

Last updated: 20 September 2026

1. About Goboard

Goboard is operated by Samuel Thomson, ABN 11 798 622 982, in New South Wales, Australia. These Terms govern your use of Goboard and the website creation, hosting and management services provided by Goboard.

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase or use a Goboard service.

2. The service

Goboard provides website creation, hosting, ongoing website management and changes, and SSL/security as part of its managed website service.

After the initial website has been completed, customers may also be provided with tools that allow them to modify or edit their website themselves.

3. Price and 30-day free period

The standard Goboard website service costs $50 AUD per month. The first 30 days are free. Unless you cancel before the end of the free period, your paid subscription will begin automatically and the payment method provided through Stripe will be charged $50 AUD per month on an ongoing basis until cancellation.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription. If you cancel during a paid billing period, your website will remain live until the end of that paid billing period and will then be taken offline.

Goboard does not provide a refund for the unused portion of a billing period where you simply choose to cancel. This does not exclude or limit any refund, remedy or other right you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or another law that cannot legally be excluded.

5. Website and platform ownership

Goboard retains ownership of the website design, website code, underlying software, platform, systems, templates, components and other technology used to provide the service.

You retain ownership of material you supply to Goboard, including your business content, logos, photographs and other customer materials, subject to any rights belonging to third parties. You give Goboard permission to use that material as reasonably necessary to create, host and manage your website.

6. Domains

If you use your own domain name, you are responsible for registering, maintaining and renewing that domain and for any associated domain registration fees.

A Goboard subdomain may be provided as part of the $50 AUD monthly service without a separate domain registration charge.

7. Your content and responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that information, images, logos and other material you provide to Goboard is accurate, lawful and that you have the necessary rights or permission to use and provide that material.

You are also responsible for reviewing your website and notifying Goboard if information is inaccurate or needs to be changed.

8. Artificial intelligence

Goboard may use artificial intelligence to assist with website creation, content and management. AI-generated material can contain mistakes or inaccurate information.

You are responsible for reviewing important factual information about your business and ensuring that information published on your website is accurate.

9. Hosting and availability

Goboard uses third-party infrastructure and service providers to operate its services. While Goboard takes reasonable steps to keep customer websites available and secure, uninterrupted or error-free availability cannot be guaranteed.

10. Support and website changes

Goboard aims to follow up support requests within 48 hours. This is a target response time and does not guarantee that every requested website change or technical issue will be completed within 48 hours.

11. End of service and deletion

After the website service ends and the applicable billing period has expired, Goboard may take the website offline. Customer website data and ordinary service data may be deleted after seven days.

Goboard may retain records for longer where reasonably necessary for billing, security, dispute resolution, legal compliance or other legitimate record-keeping purposes.

12. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law where doing so would be unlawful.

13. Changes to these Terms

Goboard may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will be made available through the Goboard website. Where a change materially affects an existing paid service, Goboard will take reasonable steps to provide appropriate notice.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, subject to any applicable laws that cannot be excluded or varied by agreement.

15. Contact
